Chapter 55 is located along the main road and pretty much a stone's throw away from foodie market and foodie hawker center at Tiong Bahru Market.
Ordered On:
28March2020
 Cabonara SGD17.80
*Pretty standard fare. It could be because of the 1 for 1 deal that the ingredients was a little light but a decently prepared Cabonara.
 Bismarck SGD24.80
(Ham Cheese and Egg)
A little on the salty side and took about 30mins to arrive due to the large large crowd and influx of orders. Supply & Demand's Morning after does it way better and a great photogenic spot of MBS and the city skyline. Luka also does great pizzas.
Waffles with Banana and choice of two ice creams. SGD18.80
A very respectable serving portion but pricing was a little steep. Apart from the waffles, the additional fan fare like cornflakes, popcorn didn't add much to the dish. Wildseed's waffles and toppings with intention and in my books still the best waffles had. Light, fluffy and excellent toppings for a (at point of review) cheaper asking price.
Total Fed 2 at SGD51.32
 Ambience 3.5/5
*The place could use a little more cohesion. There was a chandelier that stood out from the rest of the decor and the wall mural a little out there. But the whole place had a nice sorta vibe to it. Kinda works.*
Service 4/5*Even thou service was backed up, staff were forth coming and updated on orders with explanation without being prompted too. They also updated on cook times for the deserts so as to time the delivery of the finale.*
Food 3.5/5
Value 4/5 for lunch deal. 3.5/5 for regular menu
*Fairly standard pricing*
Pretty nice place in the heart of Tiong Bahru. Parking maybe limited in the area, but its nice to explore the streets with a mix of boutique shops and old favorites. Great value for lunch deals.

Koma Singapore
(located at MBS Singapore)
Seemed very nice from friends visiting the place as well.
Personally was drawn into the decor alone but didn't really read up on the rest of it.

From the exterior it was extremely unassuming but perhaps that was the whole effect they were going for. As one walks through the red gates, Koma expands into this beautiful wide space with amazing decoration and interior. Unfortunately this was the only high light for the night.

Ordered On:
20March2020

 Unagi Truffle Roll SGD25
*First dish came really fast in about 5mins after having sat down. And the wait from dish one to the next was a good 25mins wait. Simple fair that felt almost ready made unagi slapped atop a basic made Maki. The premium goes to the truffle which did shine but that's about it. Premium product over a basic tasting seemingly per-prepared unagi on Maki.*
Daily Special Broiled Kimidai SGD45

*Was quite reluctant to wait for the second dish as it was such a long wait in between. We went for the Kimidai a seasonal, red deep-sea fish. For the pricing, one would expect a whole head probably. On flavor and texture alone, the fish was enjoyable but for value, it fell way short.*
Total Fed 2 SGD82.39

Food 3.5/5
*The Kimidai was nicely prepared but the Unagi felt like basic product slapped on with premium topping and finished off with a price tag.
Serivce 1.5/5
 *Really bad service experience.
Visited on a Friday with low crowd numbers and staffers were plenty.
Staff-centric? Anyone would want a picture at the iconic red gates, but staff walked through the shot rather than allow patrons to have a picture taken. (Note that this was low crowd and still early in the evening at 6pm.)

Staff knew the menu but was rattling what was recommended. Staff wasn't going through the menu and instead of directing patrons to the order of say Yellow Tail as printed, staff reiterated as Hamachi. If one didn't draw the co-relation, patrons would be thoroughly confused with what is what.
Given the fine establishment and premium paid, its a takes away from the dining experience that  service staff were conversing in native tongue within ear shots of guests.

Food pacing within dishes was way too long in between dishes. 25mins.
Value 2/5
Ambience 4/5
It does give that wow factor, with the small entrance opening up the huge interior space which was a visual spectacle. Grand for some, but maybe a bit isolated and non-cozy for some if seated in the middle of the dining area.
Won't be coming back anytime. A disappointment and huge let down in the evening. In fact had second meal at Toast Box there after. Was trying for Black Tap but the place had a queue.

Have only been disappointed by a meal two other times such as this. The first in HKG for some famed crab porridge at Chi Ji Wan Tan Mee, and another con-job of lobster risotto in BCN in Suamu Bar. This definitely joins that list as the number three. Even the dry aged duck from Perth Wild Flower was a far more superior dining experience with the view, service and dish itself which out prices the Kimidai served here. In my opinion, avoid.

Instaworthy place, falls flat on service and overall dining experience. Food was so-so but unfairly based on just these two orders.

Ribs & Burgers
Open Sun-Thur 11hrs-2130hrs
Fri-Sat 1100hrd-2200hrs
*Had star it before on the maps but never had the chance to check it out. Located along William’s street, Ribs and Burgers came recommended for their burgers over the ribs.*

 Ordered On:
03March2020
Mighty Bacon & Cheese
1/4Angus patty, bacob, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, BBQ & pink sauce. 17.90AUD
Additional serve of fries for AUD4.90.

*Went straight for the most deluxe, all-in version. I must say the counter staff sells em burgers well.*
The burger is really juicy and has that amazing char flavor. The patty serving size for the Mighty burger series is very respectable and juicy.
However, what worked against the burger was that the patty itself lacked seasoning, and the bacon was too over powering with its saltiness. The rest of the compliments were really nice, and pretty much standard fare. Fries were alright. Best fries to be found is still at Grill'd
Its still a good burger, but I'd say the place still looses out by order of Rankings Pearl's Deluxe, followed by Super Duper(SFO) and Shake Shack. Best burger still reigning supreme is still Burger House in Munich.
Ambience 4/5
*Nice, chill place. Music wasn’t too loud and its got lots of windows for natural lighting to shine in.*

Service 4/5
*Staff were really tentative and quick to notice and ask if you needed anything. They have self service condiment and tap water bar which was extremely welcoming.*

Value 4/5
*Largely because of the free flow condiments and tap water. This is a rarity in other Burger joints which charge by the dipping. The serving size especially and if you go for their standard sized burgers its about 12AUD or so.*
Food 3.5/5

Good value burger. Some elements over powered it and would have gone better without. Probably worthwhile to try their lamb burgers as well as their classics which go for cheaper. Great value burger joint in a nice environment with attentive service. Can return to try their lamb and classic burgers. Ribs reported good too but yet to try.
