Return to airport shuttle is every 30min on the hour. Just be present 10mins before the half hour interval. A charge of AUD5 each way which will be charged to your credit card.
Even with airliner crew discount at other car rentals, No Birds car rental is still the cheapest there is around. If one goes without the car insurance the rent for a 8day stay was at AUD138.
Round trip shuttle is 10AUD and is call on demand for the pick up and for airport return service is a half hourly departure on the hour.

Le Gate offers invisible grill solutions as well as artificial fiber glass walls. Many of my fellow neighbors have engaged their services for the invisible grill but we went for the latter. 
Price wise, compared to other artificial wall panels, where Le Gate lacked in variety, they made up for in price. The wall stone collection was a to-clear series which was charged at about 16SGD per unit square, much cheaper that the other panels offered around the market at that time. As seen, 800SGD for the wall.
Panels can be customized to any of their predetermined colors and are made to measure after a site visit. Panels are mounted on the walls and are weather proof. The system allows for drilling through the aestheticfront to the wall behind, thus supporting heavier attachments. Note that the facade does not bear the load.

Depending on your design choice, the hand painting and detailing are fairly decent. The panels provide the aesthetic appeal you desire without going through the costly labor and construction with usual raw materials.

Warranty after completion is for one year, and the color still holds after a year at point of posting this review.

This is a review of product and rendered services
In all honesty, we had little to no research prior deciding on a mattress. Like many others, we were walk ins at one of Singapore Expo's many home and living exhibitions. 

In Singapore, no two shops will carry the exact same mattress type. Prices range from the cheap to the really expensive. Many mattress will try to up-sell their respective plus points like orthopedic, multiple spring, anti-bacterial, etc, etc. All-in-all it boils down to personal budget and the actual feel of the product itself. Take your time to lie down, bounce and feel the actual product.

Nature's Rest mattresses are made to order using Natural rubber. We went for a king sized mattress with 5point back support, which is of varied resistance to match the body part. The mattress model comes with an additional cushioning layer which really adds that level of comfort. (SGD3300 for a king sized mattress at time of expo Promo Price).

As a user with previous back injuries, no longer do I wake up with back aches. We went for a medium soft firmness and the mattress itself doesn't trap heat. Thus far we are pleased with nature's rest mattress but will see if it's still be just as good over the years. This post will be updated in due course.

Located at Seletar Mall, this was my first time at this shop to making a new set of prescription Sun Glasses. Having been through several pairs of glasses over the years, Eyecare Studio was equipped to manage my requirements.

Price point for prescription sun glasses they were about 20% cheaper than their competitors. Most shops retailed from 150-160SGD for the sunshades, whereas here it started of at SGD$120, with an additional SGD$10 for gradient shade.
At SGD120 for prescription sunglasses lenses, it comes with choice of color and degree of darkness up to 80%. Seen above is 80% and the standard grey lenses.

Shye Jun who managed the initial sale was knowledgeable and helped explain that excessive curvature in the lens may result in peripheral image distortion. Flatter sunglasses frames, the lens may go cheap as SGD50 as quoted by others. He further had tools I'd never encountered at other Optical shops to measure focal length to get the right details in making a proper pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses were sent in on Friday afternoon and within four days ready for collection!

Thus far its worked out great and the resilience of the glass is holding. Will update over time on the quality and make with this pair or future pairs being made.

 Alto Fabric came recommended from the online forums and others hear say. Having been to a couple of random JB curtain shops near Tampoi Lighting (Click here for ABBA joints for lights and fans), by way of pricing, they are incredibly competitive. Price are matching, if not even cheaper! 

Alto Fabrics has an excellent collection of fabrics to choose from. The package deal I had  signed up at the time starts at SGD1000nett for a 4Bedroom setup. This basic package includes a Living room with full night and day curtain, whilst the 3 other rooms are full curtains/blinds. Premium fabric selection and additional day curtains comes at additional cost. (About $100++ per room). They have other flat rates for 3/2 rooms etc all of which are incredibly attractive.

Although there was a delay in the arrival of material for the fabrics, the final product has got no complaints thus far from its usage.

The roller blinds are moving smoothly and the dark curtains (not full black out) sufficiently keep out the heat and darkens out the room. This is especially evident in the room that gets the full setting sun. The room still remains much cooler as opposed to the lack of a curtain.

The feel of the material is great and the drape on the curtains look nice.
Staff were familiar with the space constraints and knowledgeable on required allowance to recommend the appropriate curtain for you. They take into consideration, ease of wash, as well as not sacrificing on the over all look of the curtain drape once sewed together.

Alto fabric also do cushions and this came as an after thought. The settee cushion was done to specification on the first delivery with a good foam, however for the accompanying seat cushions had a bit of a hiccup with where their tie-on which needed a restitch. 

All in all, Alto Fabrics for the price and quality workmanship, one has little room for complaints. The choice of material are wide and perhaps tailored more for the local market.

Would I do curtains with them again! Most definitely for their price point and workmanship. However, from my ID which was managing it, the process is a little less desirable. The initial curtain order was made way in advance but the lack of material in shipment was not relayed to us until we went seeking via our proxy ID. From our ID, apparently replies were slow and non definitive on due date.

This is probably the main thing I would have done differently. To actively seek with them on completion dates and expected delivery times. It maybe with a one off employee but other than that, the end results speak for itself and one probably cant get a deal better. If I do require more curtains and cushions, Alto Fabric would the one I'd be calling on with a little more hands on management.
