Chilli Shawarma
(located on ground floor of Feild's Shopping Center)

Located on the ground floor
Shawarma Ret Menu 105Kroners
*Apart from the fries and toasted pita bread, the rest of the meal is average. Like realllly average. Though the meat serving is huge, the meat on its own is relatively salty, minimal fat and lacking flavor. The house chilli is a little special. Pretty spicy but when we had it, some of us found the chilli batch a little sour. Halal guys probably have the way spicier chilli and flavorful meats. So far the top shawarma with spit fire char,  recommended by others and voted best city eats is located in Auckland, The Middle East Cafe.
Fed each at about 100Kroners each. The beers were cheap at about 18Kroners and worth the change out from soft drinks.

The place has a Marche kinda of concept, with a truly international range of eats ranging from Brazilian, Thai, Japanese, French, Italian, Korean, Indian and much much more. The decor is pretty Hipsterish and similar to container box dining. London's Camden Town and Borough's Market offer a very similar experience, great for sharing and hang for a bit.

Duck Confit with Duck Fat Fried Fries 110Kroner

*Duck Confit pictured center*
*The duck fat fried fries were really good on their own, but the heavy seasoning of the salt threw the taste off. The duck confit itself was one of the better ones had. Not too dried out and enjoyable.*
Korean Fried Chicken
*Nice crispy juicy chicken, but the batter looked strangely more yellow than the usual golden brown. Their sweet chili sauce however was spicy and great with the eats.*
Burger 90Kroner
*Average and boring. The meat patty felt over worked and under cooked.*
'Prata' Bread wrapped in mix of beef pork, cheese and avocados 120Kroner

*Way better than similar dish had at Chili Shawarama had above. The additional add ons of Cheese, avocado and flavorful meats really steeped it up a notch.*
Fed 11 total
$$$On average meals go for about 90-110Kroners depending on your order.
Beer starts from 30Kroners to about 55Kroners range$$$
A nice setting, with indoor heating which is cozy during the colder periods. There's outdoor sitting available as well which one can imagine is lovely during spring time. Best part is that some of the stalls offer free samplings to help you make a better decision.

Good selection but can't speak for the overall hits or misses as there were too many to choose form.

Dalle Valle offers daily brunch and dinner buffets at 79DKK/99DKK respectively. A nice setting with high ceilings and a value meal in Copenhagen? This is definitely the one meal to settle it all.

The spread features a sampling of traditional Danish food, which includes crispy pork, pickled fish, red cabbage and rye bread. This place has got it all and more to offer.

Ordered On:

14May2023
The food spread is as remembered from 6years ago.

Great selection for a bargain price really. There's a discount special of half price but requires an order of a drink. (Although a free to download app and coupon but staff would just apply it with a drink order.) A small fee about 20++DKK for Free flow water is allowed too which works up to kr87.46DKK(17SGD). A steal price for a FULL meal with any simple sandwich or drink would go for about 40DKK each already.

They have a mix of all, simple curries, danish meats, cold cuts, pizzas and an impressive, all-be-it slightly over dressed salad range! Will still recommend for the value eat.
Ordered On:
24March2017
*Their cold selection was pretty standard fair. Corn and rock melons were really sweet. Loads of greens, olives and cold pastas to choose from*
*Their hot dish selection, especially their crispy pork were really good. There's baked pasta, chicken and pasta with usual serving of fries and chips.*
Fed2 at100DKK each
 *on 06May2017*
NOTE Plain water comes at 20DKK per pax (Free flow thou)

2 Michelin stared and ranked world number 1 restaurant three times over.
(Yet to get a reservation or review)

Did you know that at one point of time, Noma was three times over, world number one restaurant? Apparently reservations come in the form of being on the wait list, and a successful booking would recieve and SMS from the restaurant. Noma is located across from Nyhavn (click here for ABBA reivew of Nyhavn) and a short 900m walk from Christianshavn st (Metro).

Here are a list of its acolades taken from Wikipedia that should speak for itself.

 Street vendor Hotdogs
(Helle's Polser)

Any burger or hotdog would go for about +35 Krones.
What's so special about these street side hotdogs. It's probably their lighly pickled cucumbers, along with their sweet onion and crispy-cracked of, I don't-know-what goodness spread all over it.

The sausages themselves are fairly descent in flavor, but I think the winners here are the toppings. Be warned that servings are small. Really.

Cafe Sorgenfri
(Traditional Danish food)

Ordered:

Came recommended by Tina, a Singaporean lady who is working in the House of Amber. Having lived in Copenhagen for over 8years, she recommended Cafe Sorgenfri, a popular, must-try cafe which serves up traditional Danish foods. The roast pork was the definitive recommendation.
Ordered:
(Flaeskesteg) Roast Pork 84 Krones*Served with Rye Bread, and a warm, sweet-red cabbage slaw. It must be the best crackling ever. Salty and extra crispy. The meat however was dry and must be taken together with the crackling.
Fadel Draft Beer 28,- and 54 Krones
Pickled Herring 64 Krones*Europe pickling never dissapoints.*

Fed 2 at 234Krones Total

Want to enjoy, really good crackling but not the hefty pricing? One can try getting cooked meats from the supermarkets for much cheaper, and quality not that far off. I had purchased 4 cuts of crackled pork for 53Krones.

HACHE Gourmet Burgers - Burgers

Apparently there is another joint in London http://www.hacheburgers.com/ and this is from Denmark http://www.hache.dk/

You definitely have to make a booking as you are most likely to be turn away if you show up at their busy hours. Even with reservation, we are only allow a certain time. Ask the front desk to help you make the reservation.

Price of burgers ranges from 95 KR and the sides will have to be order separately that comes with choice of dips.
The burgers is really good and a good size for a hungry Asian. The bread is soft and rich with sesame. The patty are juicy and not oily.
According to the waitress the most popular burger is Bacon and Cheese, but I ordered the HACHE special that comes with mushroom. Special recommendation of Pulled pork burger from the captain. I will recommend the onion rings but the portion was bit small in size.

It has the typical setting of a burger joint, nothing fanciful. Its definitely not a cheap place to dine but if you craving for a good burger and beer its worth considering.
