Conveniently
located in the heart of town, Travel Lodge is within walking distance of Salamanca Square and the multitude of good eats by the scenic Harbor. Unfortunately
parking is only allowed off site, at 10AUD per exit.
The rooms
are of good size and what's great are definitely the mini dry kitchen counter
with microwave, cutlery and mini fridge to store your small bites.
ABBA Details

complimentary wifi is available up to 100mb per day and chargeable there after.
- There
is a coin operated washing machine and dryer found in the basement.

Woolworth is within 800m and open daily till 10pm at night.
The stay
at Travel Lodge is Approximately AUD120 per day.
We rented
from Hertz at the airport. Charges were at AUD354.25 (AUD50.60/day) for a week
with full insurance coverage.
For
Internet connection, a Pocket Wifi with 3Gig data at 3G speeds valid for 28Days
was purchased from Vodaphone at AUD39.
The Wifi dongle is chargeable with mini USB
cable and a single charge is good for 5hrs. There are other options provided by
other providers.
P.S
Depending on your network provider, and where you maybe traveling to, you
may not get network coverage hence no data. In our Itinerary, there was spotty
wi-fi at Mt field National Park and no coverage midway to Port Arthur. (only
