Day 1 Arrival from Tokyo
Getting from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo main
takes approximately 40mins of travel and about ¥1000.
Arrived at Vessel Inn at 1400hrs.

A great location for this newly opened hotel in Sept of 2013.

Located just around the block of Nakajima Koen Subway (Naboku Line), basic amenities like eateries as well as convenience stores are located nearby. Centrally located between ski slops visited and a stop away from tourist spots like the Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade and Ramen Alley, as well as JR Sapporo Station, for a direct train to New Chitose Airport. Rooms and toilets are good sized and comfortable. Furthermore, free, High-speed Wi-Fi, without any need for logon password. There are a range of amenities which one can request for, and going the extra mile upon request.

 *An excellent spread. Highlights are definitely the daily supply of salmon eggs, crab sticks and Ikura. The spread also featured many of Hokkaido's known sea weed and fish preserves.*

Depending on what your activities are and where they are centered around, this is a really great location regardless. The Hotle is located approximately in the center of major, to-go places like, Disney land/sea, Tsukiji, Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa, and Tokyo main!

If this were a mixed development project, it'd run an incredibly high price. Family mart (a convenience store) is located on the hotel’s right while the JR and Tokyo Subway station, ‘Kiyosumishirakawa’, (Take Exit B1) is directly on its left.

Furthermore, a Ramen, Yakitori, sushi hole-in-the-wall joint (takeaway only) and a 24hr quick-eats take-aways were located all alongthe same street. Petrol station, if perchance you've rented a car, was seen further down the block. How are you gonna beat that?

A relatively snug room, but with a little ingenuity in packing your things, one can comfortably fit two adults or one adult with a young child, no problems. Lots of complimentary toiletries are provided  and especially great to see a super-sized humidifier, already in the room. Fantastic for winter!

- Free Breakfast from 6:30-9:30am. A respectable spread to get you going for the early morning. Cereals, breads, juices, fresh fruit, salads, soups, the works. With some Western options (scrambled eggs and bacon slices). Very slight variations from day to day.
