A rare surviving Wooden Gothic church which survived the 2011 earthquakes.

You maybe interested in the uniquely, Japanese designed Cardboard Cathedral, a temporary symbol of recovery after the 2011 earthquake. There's a quaint memorial park located there as well.

Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial along the Avon River.

There's a quaint memorial park located beside the Cardboard Cathedral that's worth stopping by. The CTV Memorial park honors the 115 victims from the 2011 earthquake.
