A british classic that's best enjoyed as a group. Every single table had ordered the same thing!

The British Sunday roast dates back to 18th century medieval England, when large cuts of meat were slowly cooked over an open fire after church on Sundays. It later evolved into a regular weekly tradition, especially during the Industrial Revolution.

In British culture, it represented family time, routine, and comfort. Even today, gathering for a Sunday roast (at home or in a pub) reflects values like togetherness, tradition, and a shared national identity, linking modern life back to historical habits.

Ordered on:
19Apr26
All IN Roast for 3 at £28/pax
Additional Cauliflower Cheese £6

Food 4/5
*Pork, Lamb, beef. That was how we felt were the most prefered to least. The pork wasn't at all dry, the crackling was spot on and condiments like the horse radish wasn't over bearing. Their gravy was perfectly salted and went amazingly well with everything, but especially so with the golden crispy potatoes and best yorkshire pudding had. A wonderful meal, enjoyed more with others.*
Service 4/5
*The bill was easily split three ways at the table and staff were great to share their insights on the history of Sunday roasts as well as the how-tos to best enjoy the meal.*
Ambience 4/5
*Nice underground seating that's quite assuming from the outside extierior. For a similar unassuming, to wow gatsby-like dinig environment, check out Brasserie Zedel in London,
(michellin recommended).*
Value 3.5/5

£33.75/pax after service charge
Though it was a bit on the pricier side of things, but the experience of dining on a litlte bit of history, the ambience and by far the best yorkshire pudding made it a hugely enjoyable meal. There are roasts for indiviuals as well. Highly recommend to try a Sunday roast if you've never had one before.
