Coasters

This time we decided to try Coasters. The beach area in front wasn't as visually interesting or wide spread as in front of Ola's. However each side offers a slightly different vibe with Coasters getting a view of the fire works going off from the Wings Of Time Fireworks Symphony. There are shower facilities on-site but maybe a bit limited with only two shower stalls available.

Seating is plentiful but the beach benches are a little low for the kids to sit down properly at the table for meal time.

Ordered On:
25Feb25
Angus Beef Burger, Fish & Chips, Hawaiian Pizza, Tiger Prawn & Bacon Risotto

Food 3.5/5
*Food here is pretty good for what we ordered. All were flavorful and sitting on the lovely soft sand was fantastic.*
Ambience 4/5
Service 3.5/5
Value 3.5/5
Coasters is nearer to the main station without having to traverse too far to the other beach clubs. Good food and nice ambience with peaks of the nightly fireworks. Will try other beach clubs in future to see how they stack up.

Wings Of Time Fireworks Symphony

A good story line and covers key moments in our history. The show amply gives a touch of multicultural expressions and flare, good visuals with a nice mix of occasional pyro and fireworks.

Worth checking out at even the regular retail with a meal thrown in. We caught this during the SG60 promo at 60cents on weekdays only for 840pm show. Promo ends 28March25.
You could check out MBS's Spectra for a free nightly light and water show. Not as cohesive as this but still a nice display.

Sensory Scape is perfectly located just in front of this attraction and provides a leisurely walk up and down to explore. Lights come on at about 1945hrs (Click for full review).

Benchmark Climbing
(Bouldering)

Bouldering is climbing without ropes. Just shoes, bag of chalk and safety matts.
A unique and fun experience. A great activity especially during wet weather days. There are shower facilities and lockers on-site and various routes to try out. Water coolers are also available.
ABBAtips (as shared from the more advance climbers who brought us along)
- Remember to do your stretching especially for your arms and shoulders.
- Start of with picking a shoe that's snug and your toes are a little curled inwards. You can always change shoe sizes after.
- Chalk only your finger tips.
- Look for the numbers for the difficulty. Starts off from Zero and progresses harder with an increasing number. Even within the same numbers, each routes has its own unique challenges and you can tackle the same route differently each time to find a more efficient way to go up.

*This was a level 1*
There's no time limit to how long you'd like to stay. Be courteous, have fun and give each other space when attempting a route. The route is considered complete when having touched the last colored block on your route.

For just a day climb its USD30 with USD5 for rental of shoes. Chalk comes with. Depending on the promotion, there maybe other deal combinations.

Dry Sautéed String Beans USD19.90
*Well executed*
Fish Fillet In Hot Chili USD29.95

*Nice! More Ma than spicy. The fish was fresh but could have been better enjoyed if served hotter, temperature wise.*

Satisfied that Chinese eats craving. A nice restaurant that came recommended online on several platforms. A good option. Another option which is a stone's throw down from here is another famously joint favored for years, R&G Lounge. Click here for full review.
We hopped over to The Stinking Rose for their iconic garlic appetizer and Ice-cream. The appetizer seems to have lacked-luster since its start but the Garlic ice-cream is still a must try.
