National Musuem of Singapore as the name is aptly put checks all the necessary boxes.
Pretty comprehensive overview of Singapore's History with some digital art presentation for some variety.

A neat little museum shop to get some cool Singapore products as well as two bistros for varying price point to enjoy a good or fine dining meal.

Nice open spaces with fairly comprehensive write ups on Singapore's history. Loads of multimedia additives to bring the history to life. The Story of the Forest offers a break to Singapore centric history and brings and immersive experience for all.

Eats at Food for Thought thou a little on the pricey side does serve up a good meal and service is excellent. Three mains orders would set you back about 70SGD.

National Museum of Singapore offers a great half day visit for some history on the nation and a bit of immersive arts.
