Dubai Fish Market
800m walk from Hyatt Regency

The Dubai Fish Market is a stone's throw away from the Hyatt Regency. The walk there in the early morning of summer is bearable and in reality, the fish market itself is quite cool. Because of all the ice needed for keeping the fish chilled, the temperatures are significantly lower.

 Huge Red Snappers

Same same but different from Tsukiji Fish Market Japan. The concierge was saying Dubai's best fish market. Some of the species were easily recognizable and some other common varieties were hugely sized!

The assault on the senses from the meat section maybe a little over whelming to some

The place essentially is a huge wet market like one would see in Singapore. You've got fruits, vegetables, preserves, meat and seafood with an additional section of basic home wares. A short 800m walk to see how the people of UAE get the freshest seafood and produce from. Many of them were buying by the trolley/bucket loads.
