Copenhagen - To Do
The David Collection Museum
750m walk from Kongens Nytorv Station
(free to enter)

Although Voted the No1 thing to do on trip advisor, on a personal level didn't wow as
much. Located opposite King's Garden, this frontage of homes houses a four story
personal collection of C.L.David (A collector). The museum also provides complimentary
tablets with both written and audio excerpts.
*Pictured from Left, A Jar made out of stone, Center Wood paneling, Right Casts a shadow of the Quran as the light shines brightly.*
*Pictured from Left, A clear handle of a beautiful piece, Center Intricately decorated shell, Right, a paper cut of the Quaran.*
*The Dutch collection on the lower levels.*

The upper two stories were dedicated towards Islamic art and history with a couple of
interesting choice pieces, which in totality, dwarfed the Dutch collection on the lower two
floors.

All-in-all, apart from a few interesting choice pieces, it is definitely an information
overload, with a collection focused mainly on Islamic history.
Kongas Have (Kings Garden)
& Rosenborg Castle

Copenhagen's oldest national palace gardens. Picturesque grounds which layout before
the Abingstider (Rosenborg Castle)

*from information board* "Rosenborg Castle houses some of Denmark's greatest
treasures. Among the main attractions are the great hall with the coronation throne
guarded by three lions of silver, and beneath the castle; three treasure chambers with
the crowns and crown jewels."*
Opening Hours Tue-Sun 10-2 (Yet to review)

Nyhavn
(Iconic Copenhagen Canal)

The iconic scene which is synonymous with Copenhagen. A scenic location with
eateries and small shops (like this antique shop seen above) lining its banks. Also located at the start of Nyhaven is the House Of Amber shop and Museum.
