Their signature double portion Premium pork Tonkatsu with egg
1220Yen

*It is a little on the salty side, but the flavor and fat distribution are very good and enjoyable. Honestly a single serving of premium pork is sufficient for the meal.*

The double portion serving is huge and you definitely get more bang for you buck as compared to Tonkatsu Kochi located on the second floor. However here looses out to Tonkatsu Kochi slightly by way of quality and of course the overall dining experience and set meal.

Think of the 2nd floor as more of a sit down dining experience of a local one man show diner, and here at Matsuridaiko as a quick get in and out place. They have a take away menu which is even more worth than supposed famous than Tonkatsu Kyk located on B1 of Kintetsu mall. Well worth budget joint especially for the take away. It maybe a little salty but it could have been because of my order choice.
Note: Place is CASH only

Chojiro
Conveyor Belt Sushi
Lvl 5

 200m from Sheraton Miyako
Located on the 5th floor of the Mall is a selection of restaurants offering the usual Japanese staples and some dessert stall. Also located on that level is Chojiro a fairly decently priced and fair quality conveyor belt sushi joint.

*Pretty standard fair. Not mind blowing great. The uni did not pack the umami punch. How they fried the prawns crispy bits was a nice welcome. The rest were pretty standard fair. For the pricing, Nagoya Midori Sushi is a way superior dining experience.

For sushi that is nearby, this place definitely is way better than the fat man sushi, (Hotei-zushi) located at ground floor around the block.

Nozaki Visit
(During Golden Week Free Entry May1-8)

A traditional event from the Genroku era. Formal name is “Sutra for Unrelated Ritual”. An event to offer thanksgiving sutra for everything, both related and unrelated. The approach for the temple from the station is lined with approx. 300 street stalls, bustling with throngs of people. Starting with “Jazz in the temple” at opening ceremony, various events are held such as Traditional dance, Rakugo(a comic story told by a professional storyteller), Japanese drums and more! - https://osaka-yanen.com/en/event_post/nozaki-visit/
More of a hiking trail rather than for the temple attraction itself.
Shops setting up for usual carnival sale items for later in the day.
The uphill climb to Jigen-ji Temple

 Over looking the township

There were some highlight moments but primarily people come here for a hike near the mountains. I did manage however to try their seasonal warm Konyaku mixed with mountain herbs and miso which was quite interesting.

A quiet place away from the bustle of town. Nothing worth screaming to come over for and probably best to visit during sunset.
