Sure there are loads of countless reviews out there, but here are my personal check off dining places that'd I'd recommend to others to go try if in the country.

Australia Chain - San Chuorros (Best Hot Chocolate. A must try!)

Australia Chain - Gril'd Healthy Burger (Best Fries) 
Australia - Melbourne - Hardware Socitie - Best breakfast brunch place in Mel.
Australia - Perth - Fortune Five - Best Dim Sum and can rival even place in HKG 
Australia - Perth - Grand Lane Fish - Amazing Fish and Chips by genuine Brit.  
Auatralia - Perth - Bather's Bath House (Great view of the ocean. Good atmosphere and good food.
Australia - Perth - Slide Door BBQ - Unique pure smoke house eatery.
Australia - Sydney - Hurricane's Grill - Best Beef ribs. Probably edging out JNB's Beef ribs as well. 
Australia - Sydney - Sayong Curry and Laksa - Malaysia Cuisine. Value good eats! Authentic, and cooked from the good people of Cameron Highlands

Beijing/Shanghai - Xiabu XiabuXiabu Xiabu Chain Best value hot pot on a cold day

Germany - Munich - Best Pork Ribs- Rusticana
Germany - Munich - Best burger chain. Greasy, top quality ingredients and full flavored.

Hong Kong - Jing Yuan Xiao Guan  金源小館 Most unique and Cold-Garlic Chicken Dish 
HKG - Wai Kee at Borington Market 2nd Floor, Best Halal Mutton Curry known to locals, enjoyed by all.
HKG - Wing Kee Noodles - Best Beef Noodles with variety of options.

Italy - Florence - Trattoira Za Za - Best Florentine Steak   
Italy - Milan - Pace. Very unassuming but was at one point Michelin recommended. Good variety and service.

Italy - Milan - La Conchiglia (Cheap, value and great for sharing. Amazing food and very generous portions.)

Japan - Gyu Gaku chain found all over Japan review Japan - Best Yakiniku Chain) - Gyu Gaku
Japan - Kyoto - Hakusuien - By far best charcoal roasted Unagi Joint.
Japan - Naoya - Umegaoka Sushi no Midori-Sohonten - Amazing Sushi set deal for a that special zing

Japan - Narita Village - Best damn tonkatsu. The fatty pork premium cut! Not to be missed and worth its value in pricing. Japan - Osaka - Kamokin (Unique zesty Lemon Duck soup broth! Very interesting and uqniue. Great eats!
Japan - Osaka - Izakaya Toyo (Coolest, fresh and super value for money Izakaya Joint. Top notch for a bargain and unique experience. 
bargain. That little extra zing that makes it special.

Japaan - Osaka - Melopan Ice Cream - Really good only when having the freshly baked bread. Amazing flavors with melting icecream in it. Chained establishment.

Japan - Osaka - Tempura Ichiba - Top 3 tempura joint in Osaka. The lunch deal is a steal!
Japan - Osaka - Gryukatsu Motomura - Best Fried steak and value order!

Japan - Osaka - Beef Cutlet Takeru Nipponbashi (Giving the og Gryukatsu above a run for their money. More value and excellent portioning and value.)
Japan - Osaka -  Red Rock (Value and great Roast Beef Bowl)

Paris - Bouillon. Budget and all french cuisine. Absolute steal and great to share in a group.

USA - New York City - Katz (for the classic Deli experience. and where harry met sally was filmed.)

USA - New York City - Los Tacos No.1 (The name says it all.) 

USA - New York City - Adel's (Even better than the Halal guys.)

USA - Seattle - Pike Place Chowder (The place for the best damn chowder had thus far!)

USA - SFO - Super Duper -Best Garlic Fries
USA - SFO - The Stinking Rose - Best Roast Prime Rib and amazing Garlic appetizers and Icecream! Unique SFO Eats.

USA - SFO -Pearl's Gourmet Burgers Pearl's Gourmet Burgers Best Burgers

USA - SFO - Cliff House Cliff House, Best Breakfast Bread with a view

USA - SFO - Fog Harbor Restaurant Best Fish Dish @ Fog Harbor Restaurant
USA - SFO - Pho Tan Hoa Vietnamese & Chinese Cuisine (Go To Viet Pho and most robust and layered flavored vietnameese black drip coffee
USA - SFO - Mr Holmes Bakery (Top bakery had to date. The must have is the Cruffin!!! There's a countdown timer for that everyday and flavors changes daily as well.)

UK - Manchester - To Eat - Dishoom (A pinnacle of indian cuisine. Fine dining where India meet colonial design. A must try!

UK - London To Eat - Dinner - Best valued Michelin dining experience. Ranked world no 5 at one time
UK - London - Wild Wood - Value and good Italian Eats 
UK - London - Franco Manca - Value and unique sour dough pizzas here!

UK - London - Duck and Waffles, Best city Dining with a view
UK - London - The Attendant - Amazing, interesting and value Breakfast joint. Don't let the Toilet throw you off.  
UK - Hobston's Fish and Chips. Think prob one of the best in UK at the moment.

Singapore - Bascilico - Best appetizer and cheese room than rivals even Italy! Wow
Singapore - Lime - Their Seasonal special buffets are quite interesting and worth to try. 

Singapore - Sin Heng Kee Porridge (Still the best porridge to be enjoyed!)

South Africa - JNB - Tasha's, Best Breakfast joint
