Hobson’s Fish and Chips
Came recommended by V.W.

Located a 400m from Gold Mine, is Hobson's Fish and Chips.
The menu is basically an A La Carte Menu for you to pick and choose your ideal fish and chips.
Ordered On:
29thOct2017
Basic Fish and chips with their classic pairings
Battered Cod (£9.95) with addon Chips for 1 (£2.30) and mushy peas (£1.75)

The classic fish and chips with condiments.
Chips: Amazing. Super fluffy on the inside and still keeping some of its crispy on the outside. All of which made from their locally sourced potatoes. Like eating light mash in french fries form and its amazing.
Mushy Peas: well seasoned and better than most places.
Cod: Beautifully prepared. Flaky cod on the inside with a light crisp batter. The portions are nice and large!
Total Fed 1 £15.31

Hobson’s got a nice setting and free wifi as well. Fish is done well and it would be worth to try their other fishes and sides. This place will be on my return to eat list to have good fish and chips when in London. Comparing to Kerbisher and Malt (Another return to fish and chips joint), its a very close fight but the fries here really stood out. Hobson's Fish and Chip are on the pricier side, about 35% more expensive, with the bulk of the pricing going to the Fish order.

A must try for good fish and chips.
