The central fire station is the oldest existing Fire Station in Singapore and currently houses the Civil Defense Heritage Gallery. *The only Firetruck which one could interact with which was fantastic*

*25May1961 Bukit Ho Swee Fire*
The entire space is a simple two story enclosure. The lower floor was the star and featured a handful of firetrucks through the ages and the various civil defense toy models and badges in the main lobby. These were honestly the most fun to the visit.

The upper story would have been more fun with their interactive displays but due COVID was mostly a walk through of more modern day fire fighting equipment and featured other aspects of Singapore's Civil Defense response.
Nice exploration of this iconic and oldest fire-station, and can be easily covered in 45minutes.

Jubilee Park
Beside Fort Canning Downtown line MRT

ABBATip:
- The parking area right by the playground is relatively limited.
- Great that they had water cooler spots and well as wash points located near the sand play area.
A nice little playground with a good mix of obstacles, slides, fine sand play as well as swings. The slides are beautifully integrated into the land space and is reminisce of these other note worthy (much larger) free to enter playgrounds to explore.
Jurong Lake Gardens
Gallop Extensions at the Botanic Gardens
Coastal Playgrove which was the former Big Splash.

Great little outing if you're able to score a meal pre/post adventure at the Tiong Bahru Bakery located at the foothills. Good food as always and fortunate to get some indoor seating.
You maybe interested to explore the historic Fort Canning Park, of which this play park is connected to.

Sembawang Park
Battleship playground
Parking slots are amble. Nice spaces for a jogging/cycling track, but the main jewel here is the huge sandpit that encapsulates a run aground battle ship. Good play area for the kids and convenient wash point and washroom located just across from the playground.

The obstacles maybe a little challenging for adults but great play-ability for the little ones.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, 3pm to 11pm
Friday, Saturday, and Eve of Public Holiday, 3pm to 1am

Checking out a relatively newly opened Lok Lok location in the Springleaf area. The ingredients are basic with a few standouts like the bacon wrapped golden mushrooms, pepper smoked duck and bah kwa.
ABBATIP:
Behind the building there's free roadside parking available. On the weekends it can be more limiting
Ordered On:
30Nov21
*Plus side is you get to try every sauce but they weren't really worth shouting over. Their home made one was the best of the lot.*
For the time being, don't bother with the 'hotpot' option. Stick to their tried and tested fried options. They shared they've had teething issues since their opening as they are still unable to get the soup to a rolling boil, which pretty much makes cooking anything painful. They will be switching to gas burners soon.
Ambience 3/5
*Nice simple decoration but the place has very limited in seating*
Service 3/5
Food 3/5

*Stick purely to their fried stuff. The sweet black sauce they drizzle over is a nice touch to the fried food*
Value 3.5/5
*At SGD1/stick its pretty much the standard for most places*
Approximately SGD35 fed 2
Fried is best. Sauces are average. Pricing is standard.
