Its surprisingly very filling. A single slice is enough for two to share. The Honey Cake is as its name sake, full of honey flavor and surprisingly not overly sweet. Though its not as pretty or Instagram worthy as Black Star Pastry's Strawberry cake, taste wise, it is still overall very pleasant.
Worth to try at least once, this much hyped about Honey Cake.

Raw Beef and Beef Ball Pho

*Overall it still looses out to SFO's Pho Tan Hoa. However with that said, if one is craving for some decent good pho, this place still stands slightly above other Pho joints. Their raw beef is very tender and their respectably sized beef balls are gratifyingly enjoyable. Their soup stock is much lighter with a slightly Herby accent to it.*
*Think the fry on the spring roll is a little odd, and in fact a little under. Can give the fried spring rolls here a miss.*
*Worth while order. Massive paper rice rolls.*

Fed each at about 18AUD each
Not that cheap once you add the spring rolls which worked out to be about an additional AUD2 each. Good decent pho but a bit of a walk from Perth's main walking street. An alternative that's closer is, Tra Vinh.

Mennoya
(Recommend from Ng K Y a little further down from
one of top 3 tempura joints in Osaka, Tempura Ichiba

500m walk from Sheraton Miyako.)

A small 10seater restaurant which offers seemingly popular Ramen to the people of Osaka. The place was already packed at 12.30pm on a weekday afternoon and the whilst we finished up, others were already next in line waiting to jump in to take our seats.

ShinAii Ramen (Soy Sauce Taste + Yuzu Citrus pepper + Pork back Fat)
*As far as Shoyu Ramen goes, this one is better than another popular shoyu ramen in Narita, Ramen Bayashi. Although the Ponzu flavors isn't that strong, the soup is light and quite refreshing. The noodles themselves are prob inbetween firm and a bouncy texture.*

Average. A hit with some but a miss for others who maybe looking for stronger flavored pork based soups. The pork cuts themselves are a little on the dry side. However some liked the spicy Ramen flavors. A real toss up between positive, average and not like. Try if you fancy the lighter tasting shoyu ramens.

Taste better than Ramen Bayashi, Narita.

Alley on 25 is actually the entire group of different bistro/restaurants which individually specialize in different cook styles located on the 25th Floor of Andaz Hotel by Hyatt. Some focus on the BBQ, while others geared towards broiling/baking or on fresh greens. The shared menu already features the best or rather most popular ones from all of these restaurants.

Each restaurant has a different interior decoration and of course vantage point of Singapore.

Lobster Mac and Cheese SGD35

*The portion is small. Sure you get actual lobster but the Mac and Cheese portion is totally lacking. The Mac is dry and lacking the oomph from the cheese or cream. Sure you get some lobster but hardly justified by the portion size and asking price. Mac pretty normal.*
Waygu Beef Ribs SGD45

*Thou really nice but the portion again is very small. Nicely marinated and presented. However the heavy sweet marination could probably take away from the quality meet than add to it. Basically beef rib cuts are already quite tender and fatty. You don't get the through essence of the waygu beef. The side salad however is a very refreshing

Heirloom Tomato Salad SGD16
*Simple and really nice. But again for a simple assembly of Herloom tomatoes, dressing and katamala olives, way over priced. Pleasant but hurts the pockes.*

The place and especially the view is aesthetically pleasing to the eye with a great panoramic view of Singapore skyline. There's no real distinct restaurant since one can order from any of the restaurants. However, each of them do have a slightly expanded menu but the supposed best/signatures are already in the combined menu.

Sadly to say much of 'signature' selection aren't that impressive. The food is nice, but over priced and doesn't match up in the presentation or flavors. Only the Mac and Cheese failed miserably. Overall taste was okay but some missed opportunity with the Waygu Beef.

Will not be returning for their Al-la carte meals, however will still give their weekend Buffet a try. SGD45 for free flow of oyster and rib buffet. Perhaps their day specific specials at the individual restaurant are value for trying out.

Alley On 25 Continued Oyster and Rib Buffet

As advertised. The Buffet goes for Fridays and Saturdays. The selection is a little constricted and does fulfill the Oysters and Buffet aspects of it. If you're not a huge oyster fan, then its not worth for you at all.

The stand outs were their amazing chorizo sausages (which weren't that spicy really), super sweet and tender char grill beef short ribs and succulent oysters. The pork ribs were so-so at best. Those mentioned were the clear winners.

They do have other fillers like a simple salad station and soft serve self-service dessert kiosk but nothing more to that. An okay valued place for oysters and beef short ribs with the same amazing view.
