Actually the krugersdrop i felt is better in safari, but this Harties got some rare color animal like golden wildebeest and black swasbuck or something. Harties allow you to gallop if you have confident and wanna try 'horse riding'. Kurgersdrop is a 'safer' walk only, so the horse is no more than a form of transport.

Number 4 Number 6 and the meat special

*Still really good! The Choirzo is a little salty but they give nice thick slices so you can really get the flavors of the spiced meat. The meat special with their ultra sweet peppers were amazing but personally order number 4 , the Gloucester old spot ham still takes the cake. I heard other patrons custom ordering their pizzas, with buffalo mozzarella and rocket. Will probably try something like that in future. Simple Italian eats pizzas.
Fed 3 at about 8pounds per head.

Gloucester Old Spot Ham , Mozzarella, buffalo ricotta, wild mushrooms 7.35
*A damn good pizza! If the sour dough ts your things, this is definitely the place for you. Nice light and chewy. Ingredients are just the right amount and had with their quality table side chilli olive oil and garlic olive oil is divine! One of the most enjoyable pizzas that's beats many others and probably be another go to pizza joint! Worth a try, visit and to share! A new contender to Wildwood. The only down side would probably be the limited pizza selection but the seasonal section up on the board gives you a few more options.*

*A big franchise that's located all over London.
The unique thing is the dough. Very soft and chewy.* - Wing

London - To Do (13Dec2016 Brixton Market, 27Dec22 Winter Wonderland)

London - To Do

I was told by others the Brixton Market is a real hipster kinda town but boy were we let down. Its probably more vibrant in the evenings when the rest of the eateries open up.
Brixton is more of a food market place with hippi-ish eateries spread within the Brixton Village and in the restructured shipping containers. The shipping containers here lacks a little luster in comparison to Christchurch's re-start mall and Incheon's photo iconic, Common Ground

We were were recommended Burnt Toast Cafe by the shop owner, and was told that often times, there's a long queue by Londoners for this eatery. He also shared that Brixton Market still holds the old hipster vibe of what Camden Town used to be before it became very touristy.
Rosti with smoked salmon and eggs
*Nicely prepared and in interesting take on potato rosti. Simple eats that's enjoyable.*
Pancakes with Bacon
*Light fluffy pancakes with a hearty serving of syrup and good ratio of bacon too.*

If oddeties, hipster eat and shopping are what you are looking for when in London, I'd recommend Camden Markets over Brixton. For something even better, take an hour rail journey out to Brighton Beach for indie shopping and good eats. A really worth while day trip out! Brixton is probably more lively for an evening meal

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
27Dec2022

*Now having an entry charge!*

*Rides and fun houses still going for about 8-10GBP/ride*

13Dec2016
An annual event that takes up a pretty huge area in Hyde Park. Its pretty much a combination of carnival games, rides, ticketed shows and loads of eats which seem to give off more of a Bavarian October Fest feel.
Free to enter, with rides starting from 2pounds up and pretty much all the fun rides goes from 6pounds-9pounds and up. There are ticketed shows within the compound which do not come cheap.
The Christmas markets are always fun to see but lots of the retail aren't really around the Christmas theme. A good way to spend the evenings walking among the carnival/Oktoberfest like atmosphere and keeping warm by the fires.
*Spin to win up to 2kg of Chocolate!*
