Stadium Riverside Walk
240m/3min walk from Stadium MRT Station

A scenic walk that's located right in front of Kallang Wave Mall, which in itself has loads of eateries, activities and shopping options.
The stretch is more of a scenic walk and long stretches of leisurely picnic spaces. The place offers activities for all ages.

There's the Water Sports Centre which has Kayak & Canoe Rental services, sand play  at the beach volley ball court and water play overlooking the Kallang River and city scape.

Excellent spread of varied activities and will return for the water play area. Note that there's isn't a dedicated shower area that we saw nearby.

Kallang Riverside Park
A nice stretch of parkland beside the Kallang River offering a view of the old indoor stadium and the OCBC Aquatic Center. This side of the river used to be home to  Kallang Gasworks and remains of its original structure are placed as a reminder of that historic past.
*Huge Banyan Tree*

*Dragon Boaters doing their circuits*
*For the casual fishermen, get second hand lures for cheap. $3 and up?*
A lovely stretch of park which has a bit of history and a mix of activities from fishing, dragon boating along the river, the view and your usual morning exercise groups.

Heap Seng Leong is one of the last few, popular breakfast coffee joints that hasn't become a commercialized chain. One can reminisce having a classic Singapore breakfast in the old school coffee shop.
*Usual Orders here are Kopi(Coffee) or Coffee with Butter*
The place offers very simple breakfast fair of Coffee, toast and eggs. Be prepared for a wait as the master, aged over 80, still in his iconic getup processes your order. It was entertaining to watch him 'erase' the overly chard bits with the lid of the metal tin.

A taste of nostalgia really. Coffee was nice and richly flavored. The toast was alright. Personally preferred Tong Ah Eating House for their iconic preserved shop houses, larger space and view from there.

The coffee shop shares its space with crispy curry puff so worth to try in between the wait. The curry puffs have a really hard shell crisp, with a not too spicy potato curry filling.

A little rock climbing
Log Balancing
Overall, a nicely three/nature grove themed and designed playground. The space offers multi-tired play with unique sound features. Kind of like the playground at Marine Cove. The small caves and cubbyholes make for great play spaces for the young ones.
There's a 'younger' version suitable for ages 3-5 located across from the main playground.
