Sweet and savory Pad Thai.
Sweet Pad Thai was a little too sugar heavy, but the savory was a home run. Furthermore, one could elect for the noodles be changed to vermicelli. Tomyam soup ordered was to standard, as was the mango salad. A good balance of sweet, sour and tartness.

A much better Thai joint in my opinion as compared to the closer Thai joint than Old Siam, (click here for ABBA review of Old Siam). Even without Old Siam's 20% compulsory gratuity, portions at Bangkok are much larger by comparison with more fillings, authentic tastes and edging out its Old Siam in terms of flavors. Price point dish for dish, cheaper and without the compulsory 20% gratuity that comes with Old Siam's bill.

Corned beef hash is a steel table top fried dish of potatoes, capsicums and corned beef. Egg was to standard I suppose for bar foods with choice of cheddar or swiss over it.
A place perhaps for baseball fans and the probable upside to this place was that it served Starbucks coffee on it premises.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Located just one street down from Parc55 hotel, Chipotle is a Mexican fast-food joint, which is part of the McDonalds food brand.
Meats were pretty much indistinguishable under all the toppings of rice, sour cream and corn toppings. As for level of spiciness, the highest spice level (only three levels with non-spicy the first, mild the second and spiciest the too) is probably similar in heat to Peri's Peri's 2nd to 3rd hottest tier, giving a warm heat.
For calorie counters, all choices have clearly demarcated 'damage'.

A very western place, presumably owned by a very Asian owner, deduced by the presence of the Fa-chai Mao (prosperity cat).
For cheap and decent, home style cooked steaks, Tad's steak house is located right beside Bangkok, reviewed above.
T-bone steak comes a respectable medium rare, served with a small side salad and baked potato. A decent, home cooking standards, steak I supposed. With an all in price of USD16.30. for a convenient eat.
Located a stone's throw away from the hotel and opened daily till late,this place serves up authentic Thai cuisine.

Cliff House
Although The Cliff House is a - To Eat, I really felt that this place is a must stop place before setting of on your journey. (Don't miss out on walking down to the coast at the cliff house. A must do. Click here for Full Write up and pictures!)
An incredibly picturesque view, sitting cliffside by the sea. One gets to enjoy from choosing
between two bistros for dining at the Cliff House. Definitely, a not to be missed view and dining experience, with large window panes to maximize the postcard scenery which stands before you.
There
are loads of pictures in the restaurants, reflecting the long history
of Cliff House, depicting how it had been standing for many years and
even survived a fire.

*The winner amongst all the dishes, and definitely worth its weight in Dungeness Crab. You really get to taste the natural sweetness of the crab and all it's accompanying components do not disappoint. Well worth the order.*

Something a
little different about this place is the type of bread they serve up.
The bread's here are more like profiteroles. Served light, hot and the
accompanying jam are amazing. especially the marmalade, which in most
cases have a bitter taste to them, but not so with this here. Sweet with
a refreshing, zesty lemon flavor, Amazing! Definitely try their
marmalade.

*A new order entry. By them doubling up the cheeses really gives the omph and adds that nice heart clogging, richness. The beef patty is a little on the salty side but still good overall. There's nothing to scream about for the garlic fries. The best garlic fries in town still goes to Super Duper.*
*Everyone were definitely thumbs up over the bread and jam and could happily live of those! A very quiet table with everyone eating away enjoying the good food and amazing view! Comparing to Mama's on Washington (click here for full review) that some have gone, Cliff House offers a wider menu selection by way of its savories.*

On this visit, overall
the consensus about the food was that their servings were indeed above average.
However, some felt that just ordering a clam shower and filling up on the
semi-sweet, free flow of profiteroles and jams, accompanied by the backdrop of a
stunning view of the pacific ocean was more than sufficient.

Cliffhouse and it's accolades
For
the dining experience, above average food at relatively reasonable prices and its deep
history, a definitely not-to-be-missed location and I would make it my must go to pit stop before setting off for another road trip. Two thumbs up!

This baseball, memorabilia and sports bar serves up their famous corned beef hash, which sad to say, wasn't a home run. More of a strike out in my books.
