Tony's Lord Nelson Restaurant
The Rack of
Lamb came highly recommended in this place, apparently better than even
the Aussie variety... Not very big on lamb, but this was enough to make
one a convert - and why do the fatty bits have to be the most flavorful... Came served with vegetables, chips and a mint Bearnaise
sauce.
The lamb and a glass of house red came to NZD52. They
also have lamb done other ways, including (egad) lamb brains for the
daring. Located a few units upslope from the Countdown supermarket and
just across the bungee ride.
