The place literally is sorta end of the world. Past the stretch of street side shopping at Batu Ferringhi to the Pitcher Round where End Of The World Seafood Restaurant Sits. Penang Butterfly Farm is located a little further down from the round about.

Or Jian (Oyster Omelet)

*Sweet local oysters are always the best*
Prawns done two ways

*Pretty decent sized prawns.*

Lala with Garlic
*
Really good. The garlic does have some bite to it and it goes perfectly with the sweet steamed lalas

*Steam Promfret*
A beautiful piece of fish done Teochew Style. With pickled vegetables, bean-curd and mushrooms.*
Steamed Crab
*Pretty good. Little meat to the particular species of crab but fresh*
Claypot Tofu
Chicken
Sambal Kang Kong
Blachan Chicken
*A stand out. Fried well, not overly oily and the blachan gives it a lovely flavor.*
Black Pepper Crab
Fed 8 adults 2 kids Total Approximately 600RM+

It used to be a novelty in its original location, located over the waters to have some decent seafood. But since its shift inland, and increase in prices, its decent seafood, at relatively steep prices by Malaysian standards

Pulau Tikus
(Swee Kong Cafe - Solok Moulmein Road)

Another favorite breakfast joint in Penang. To orders here from the various stalls located in and around the vicinity, all of which are push cart stalls. From Swee Kong, the main ones are the traditional clay pot Ah Pong desserts and Hokkien Mee.

Hokkien Mee
(Done in a sweet prawn broth, often with mixed yellow and white noodles)
Ah Pom

(Done traditional style in clay pots)
(Indian style crepe dessert)
Everyone goes for the edges cause they are the crispy parts.
The center is nice, fluffy and hot.

Cham Peng

*A local favourite. Coffe and tea mix. Somehow,
Penang just gets the ratio of coffee, tea and sugar right.*
Ban Chan GuiKueh

*Try not to bag it. Have it on the spot. Once bagged, the steam and condensation softens the pastry instantly. A pretty good one to try, but the better one in my book is still located at Fatty's Park. Click here for more info)
Pulau Tikus Market
(Home Made Nonya Guis)

Take an exploratory walk to the adjoining Pulau Tikus Market. There's home made Kueh's which are really good.

Lebanon Restaurant
(Tanjung Bungah)

Penang is known for its local eats, but if you're looking for something different, in a homely, soothingly decor-ed environment and popular among expats, this would be the place to give a try.

*
Good selection to choose from and really authentic tasting*
Murgh Tikka Masala RM26

*Not spicy at all and was amazing with the huge, light Naan breads served*
Chicken Kebab x2 RM24 each

*Pretty okay. A little on the dry side to be honest but nicely spiced and flavored.*
 Family Naan RM7
Garlic Naan RM9
*The naans were good and of value order.*
Lemon Juice Mint RM10each
*Nice and refreshing. Goes very well with the heavy dishes and cleanses the pallet.*
House Special Grill Chicken Drum Stick RM55
*The star order for sure. Beautiful charring on the chicken. Not at all dry and incredibly juicy. Well worth the order! Their house special as they put it.
*Mandi Chicken RM26
*The basmati rice dish was light and very flavorful. Popular with everyone and another must order!
Extra Lamb Mandi RM20
Fed 6 RM325.31
Authentic Labanon food that can give Dubai's Karachi a run for its money.  A nice ambiance for sure with

Sunshine Farlim

A great stop over place for local local eats. The equivalent to Giant (or reduced priced shopping) the place offers a good stop over for a to shop and to eat joint. The to orders here are the Penang Laksa and Famous Chendol. The Otah is a nice addition and pleasant surprise.

Penang Laksa

*Authentic stuff and you must have it with additional Heh-kor (sweetish prawn paste)
Interestingly, locals have spring rolls for dipping into the Assam broth. Have a try yourself.

Otah

*Very good otah. A little heavy on the egg whites but the flavor packs in folds. Well worth the order.

Nasi Kandar along Burmber Road

One of the better Nasi Knadar (Indian Muslim Foods in Penang). They are best known for their secret beef Rendang recepie.

Ordered On:

The Sotong Eggs (Bottom left) were really good. Most of what was ordered are non spicy and child friendly. One of the best that Nasi Kandar has to order and a return for more eats.
