Rifle Range Park
Visited 03Jan23

The visitor Pavilion was inspired by the L-shaped structures built in shooting ranges to redirect misfired shots. The site used to used by the Singapore Gun Club from 1950s to 2009.

*Collecting rainwater from the car park runoff and redistributing to the plants* *Nice open concept shared wash basin area*

Some innovative design elements and history makes this place for great leisurely exploration. Colugo deck lookout is easy to access and allows one to soak in the scenery. Like many of the parks in Singapore, the variety in terrain offers variety and challenges catering to all park visitors.
*Nice play elements but I think part of it has broken down. There are some natural play elements but nothing to scream about. Some parks like Como Adventure Grove and Coast Playgrove Playground incorporate nature and play reallyt well.*

Try to look out for the elusive Colugo which frequent some of the trees here!
*Variety of terrain for all visitors*

This serves as an extension and connects up to the Old Buikit Timah Railway station which is a beautiful refurbished, scenic and historic site. These two could be done in combination for a great half day of exploration. For the more adventurous, it does continue on to the green corridor which stretches an impressive 24km across.
