It is nostalgic to walk the former Big Splash Grounds. Original Big Splash (opened in 1977 and Singapore's first water theme park) to Coastal Playgrove Playground (Opened Mar28th 2021). boasting the tallest outdoor play area at 16m.

- The slide gets gets skin burning hot so either go early before mid morning sun or after the sun sets.

Over at the Coastal play grove, there are pretty much five attractions in one area. The main jungle gym with two impressive slides, the massive sandpit, the nature playground, water play areas and lastly the rope playground.
Center Piece Jungle Gym and slides
The re-purposed structure with two massive slides and a jungle gym for larger kids have been diligently recreated in colors that embodied elements of its historic past. It
was great that they had the spiral track so that anyone could reach the
top and join or exit the jungle course at any point of time. Each
section had flat rest areas to chill out.
Massive Sandpit
Depending on the time of day, the nice overhanging trees provide some good coverage, though that coverage quickly reduced to about 20% from 35% by 1015am. More seasoned visitors already had their picnic mats setup at the shadier spots. Nice area to run amuck but could have done something more like at KidsStop Sandpit over at Science Center.
Nature playground
Nice concept to run among nature but unfortunately maybe not bare footed. Problem with all that nature are the tons of millipedes all over and ants and mosquitoes in the teepees. Comoadventure playgrounds did a nice job incorporating play in nature. Click here for full write up.

Rope playground
Nice location and will return especially for the water play and eats. Another new section of the long east cost stretch to explore with a new rejuvenated land mark attraction to enjoy with the coastal playground.
