Singapore - To Do 01Aug21 (Windsor Nature Park)

Singapore - To Do
Windsor Nature Park
A really nice stretch of boardwalk located along Upper Thomson Road. The place has a good size, open air parking-space. There's also a public washroom located at the entrance.
The walk is extremely enjoyable and mostly stroller accessible on the board walks. Once it goes 'off road', it gets a little more challenging for strollers, but paths are very well traveled and flattish.

Spot the local wild life along the tranquil routes that cuts through the secondary rain forest, with has a nice spread of open spaces, changing landscapes, which makes the exploration of this route interesting and enjoyable.
*Massive Bamboo growth*
*Pseudo off road which are no issues at all*
*Remanence of previous structures in the forest*
*Different terrain exploration*
Get a change to pick up rogue, wild-rambutans which the trails are abundant off.

*Sweetest ever. Maybe fermented*
Some of the wild life spotting we saw this time round.
Route we took: Venus Loop, to Venus Link joining the Squirrel trail and subsequently returning on the loop with a slight detour on the Haguana Trail. Total distance, 1.47km for a very leisurely walk with water brakes and animal spotting just over an hour.

Highly recommend and worth to check out this routing which also links up to Macrtichie treetop walks (Closed at the moment).

You might also be interested in these board walks which are easy strolls and come with a view.
