Getting there:
Dead simple. Purchase either a day ticket or group ticket to move around. Best method of getting there with minimal walking is to take the surface trams Take tram 16 or 17 to Hauptbahnof Station and change to tram 11 which stops you right in front of Hornbach Warehouse. (Hungo-Junkers-Strabe Tram Stop). *Note on the return tram 11 actually goes past the walking street so you can alight earlier and walk to HBF to tram back.*

One can pretty much build a house with what this place has got. Think Bunnings for those hailing from New Zealand/Australia. A huge array of home wares, fixtures (Grohe) and almost everything imaginable.
They've even got a pet, garden and outdoor section at the back.
Hornbach offers free wifi on-site, which is sufficient for skype calls/whatsapp and price comparisons before deciding on purchasing anything! There's a hot food stall stand on the outside which is perfect for a bit stop in between shopping.
