As always, this year airshow is held at Changi Exhibition Center and this year is no different.

As always, this year airshow is held at Changi Exhibition Center and this year is no different.
Try hitting the static displays first before the sun really starts laying the heat down. Simple dining options are available onsite with Alfresco dining. Meals go about SGD10 a meal.

The A350 being towed back after its fly past.
In all honesty, this year displays, static displays, booth wise, swag and even the aerial display really lacked luster. Apart from getting up close with Black Knight 9 in SG livery, the rest of the displays were about the same. They however seemed more restricted with less or no access to private jets, other aircraft. Most were restricted to the media.
As for the Aerial display, the A350 fly by was pretty much the same as in the Singapore Airshow 2014. Unfortunately on this day of visit there weren't the Republic of Korea Air Force's Black Eagles which would definitely have uped the wow factor. (They should be performing on the public days)
P.S. (Rough Charges of getting in and out of the Singapore Airshow 2016)
- There is a surcharge of $10 fee for taxi OUT Of the airshow grounds, but reports of long waits. (No pre-bookings are allowed/Uber/Grabtaxi as stated in the website. Go to their website to find out more) (Fee from show grounds to Simei MRT about SGD20)
- The Coach at 15min intervals per trip is SGD8 per pax and takes about 20mins from Changi Expo to Location.
