Getting there:

Take bus 70

USD4.50 for one way but ticket is valid for 4hrs.

Yoda Fountain at ILM

Home to industrial light and magic and the iconic Yoda fountain. Why visit here? Just because it is Starwars. Perhaps it was a Sunday, hence the main doors were closed, else the main lobby could be explored.
Palace of Fine Arts

From Wikipedia*The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California , is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is the only one still situated on its original site. It was rebuilt in 1965, and renovation of the lagoon, walkways, and a seismic retrofit were completed in early 2009.

It remains a popular attraction for tourists and locals, and is a favorite location for weddings and wedding party photographs for couples throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and such an icon that a miniature replica of it was built in Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim.*

As the title implies, a Farmers' Market. A place where mostly locals go to get their locally produce. Loads of free samples and a day to enjoying this small family family. only available on Sundays. The place isn't really a go to location but it is a good stop of point when taking a drive.
Although Fort Mason Center Farmers' Market wasn't a huge tourist success, but it led to the discovery of a weekly event called Off-TheGrid, occurring on Fridays. Off-The Grid from what I've heard from others, is a Roving band of popular food trucks. Offering great food and a carnival like atmosphere. They held their event at Fort Mason on Friday earlier that week.

  1. It's a fantastic place! I attended an amazing event here, loved the ambience and the staff was super friendly. At Los Angeles event venues we faced absolutely NO problems with anything.
