Looks super popular on a weekday even at peak hour. There's no queuing system per-say but the nice wait staff get you to order and the wait time was no more than 5mins before getting a seat in the small, homely establishment.

Mixed Beef Bowl AUD16.90
*Very hearty. Loads of ingredients and beef cuts were just nice that gives a little bite. One can really taste the quality of Aussie beef produce. For variety one could try the mix beef bowl which was okay, nothing really amazing to scream about unlike Beef Noodle soup place in HKG, Wing Kee Noodles. Soup base a little on the sweet side and could do better with more vegetables. Still very good.*

*The Kitchen and the Front of House
More HKG vibes than a Vietnam joint. Front of house were Hong Kong-ers but the Chef was Vietnamese. The quaint 'cramped setting' was Reminiscent of Wai Kee Ka-Fei Ban Mian (well popular breakfast joint in Mongkok in HKG).*
Value 4.5/5
Hearty, filling and value. It surely outdoes its more famous Vietnamese joint in Sydeny (Mekong in Sydney, made famous by Bill Clinton's visit) who's standards have far fallen.
From dated memories, Pho Tan Hoa in (SFO) still takes top spot. However AJ Pho doesn't stray far and leaves one hugely satisfied. More fresh vegetables would have gone a longer way. Still a great recommendation of value eats in the city and worth dropping by for a bite!
