Thomson Nature Park was beautiful. The trails were easy to navigate, with a little challenge coming from the undulating terrain. The grounds were relatively even and maintained elements of its rustic past, with informative historical boards.
Each of the routes were about 1.50km and kinda overlapped each other which worked out  quite nicely to explore the once bustling Hainan Village.
*The old houses that used to stand in the area*

*Enjoying the air roots from the great Banyan Tree in the early morning*

*Beautiful root structures*
*Public toilet located in the background*
There's a beautiful main entrance and clean public toilet at the entrance with water cooler. Strollers however are not allowed within this nature park.

*Thou they called it a Rambutan path, most of the fully laden rambutan trees were found else where.*
Excellent walk about which offered a look into the past. The range of flora and fauna had a nice variety and was laden with history. Will have to return another time to fully absorb history of the past. Highly recommended for some undulating challenge.

You might be interested in these other two parks located one after the other.
Lower Pierce (2.8km away) for its beautiful boardwalk
and Windsor Nature Park which is located 3.7km down the road. Windsor has a very different vibe, immersive walkabout routes and plenty of wildlife to see. Further bonuses were the occasional wild rambutan to pick up.
