Coney Island East Entrance
*Even the sign has seen better days*
East is least, west is best. This statement for air navigation holds true even for the Coney Island. The only highlights were probably the remote car racing group enthusiast that meet at the entrance and crossing the Serangoon Reservoir Dam.
We took the inland routing which didn't offer much visually interesting or challenging terrain. The long stretches were better suited for cyclist and runners. Also to note, that a huge central core of it is under construction to make way for the new Outward Bound School.

Stick to the West Entrance which is less challenging, offers diverse views of the surrounding coastline and an immersive exploration of the flora. Look out for the relatively opportunistic monkeys waiting at the entrance. (Visited but yet to blog down)

*More interesting and picturesque Serangoon Dam*

You might be interested in Lor Halus Wetlands, located a short walk away from the east entrance, for a more engaging, educational and historic walk. The place explores the relationship of nature and water filtration.
