Westway Diner
(The Birthplace of Seinfield)

Food's pretty alright and pretty much standard American fare. The place lays claim to fame as the birthplace where Seinfeld show was conceived.

Burger Joint
A really hidden joint in a swanky hotel. The relaxed burger joint is hidden behind thick red curtains inside the hotel. This chilled out joint serves up pretty decent simple fair burgers. It seems the walls are free for self expression and has similar fun vibes like at The Attendant wall in London.

Regular Cheese Burger with Spicy Slaw USD18 total

*A hefty serving of meat but in my opinion needs a little more seasoning. It is still a pretty good burger but no more mind blowing that an average burger had outside. The meat patty is juicy and the condiments pretty standard fare.*

Real joy comes from finding this well hidden joint within the hotel grounds. Burger is pretty alright but have had better else where.

All pretty good standard. Very hearty and surprisingly their zha leong was surprisingly good. Porridge too of good consistency and nice ginger slices inside. Well worth.

Decent value dimsum and even greater value if traveling in larger numbers with their group sets. They also have individual sets which has a sampling of a variety of items, just nice for single diners.

Dim Sum, American super sized that's nice, filling and enjoyable. More value for money when traveling in a larger group. Well worth and would return if in the mood for Dim Sum.

Carlo's bakery
As featured on TLC Cake boss.
Primarily known for their two signatures. Their canonoli and lobster tail. Man do these NOT come cheap. Costing USD14 in total. USD6 and USD8 respectively.
The filling is nice and rich. It's consistency is a little heavy thou. The pastry for cannoli is on the dense side but the lobster tail is super flaky and very crispy so you can order one which you prefer.

Tried once and that's about it. For the price would rather spend it at Angelina (Paris) or at Magnolia Bakery (NYC).

Toto Ramen
(Hell's Kitchen Branch. Recommended by Chan S Y)
Have heard much of this much favored joint and finally having the opportunity to try it this time.

Very hearty. The ingredients are fresh and with the char on the Char Siew adds that little extra. The meat and soup is a little on the salty side. It could do well with a little more noodles but you're definitely not shy of ingredients with the mega version of this dish. Fantastic for a winter's day in New York city. The chopped onions was a nice unique addition to the ramen.
