Quaint location with mostly al-fresco seating at myVillage, Serangoon Garden. Mordern Australian dishes with periodic additions to the menu and according to wait staff, refreshed menus every two months.

Avocado, Raw Tomato Salsa, Toasted Soudough

*Simple raw ingredients paired well with a pop of citrus to liven the whole dish. The chives were a nice refresshing, herbal touch.*

 

 

 

Miso Mushroom Fusolini SGD22
Pearl Oysters, Portobello, Miso Butter, Pecorino

*Fun dish with all the umami packed into one. A little sweet and savoury and nicely done. The Fusolini is a little too al-dante. Can be a litlte heavy for a single serving but excellent for sharing*

O'Connor Rib Eye SGD36
Porcini Rub, Chimichurri 250g
Smokey Grilled Veg SGD8
Carrot, Broccolini, Brussel Sprouts

*Nice charring and that Chimichurri was excllent with the right amount of salt in it to bring that pop to the whole dish. The grilled vegetables were pleasant but average.*

Pleasantly surprised like I had at Wildseed. It doesn't need a big name or branding. Location is quaint and the food was overall enjoyable at fairly reasonable pricing. It really depends what one order. We could have gone without the chendol and greedy for crispy fries.

The sides were a little overpriced and if the steak came with a side would have been a great value meal. Would still return for meal to try their refreshed menu.

- If dining in the evening, sit closer to the bar. It is a little dimly lit whilst sitting closer to the road.
