Durians, the king of all fruit. Its a pretty munch standard fare buffet with the additional sections of savory and sweet durian dishes/desserts. A special feature is the king of fruit itself served outside. (consumption only outside as well too).
The standard buffet spread didn’t really stand out that much. In fact the replenishment rate, for the raw seafood section was falling behind. Mind you the restaurant was not even closest to it fullest capacity and pretty much struggled to meet demand half an hour into service.
The savory durian dishes thou interesting and kinda worked but were more a novelty than anything else. The durian desserts were okay but I’ve had better which pack a much stronger punch.
Apart from the well lit food, the rest of the dining was a little on the dim side.
As for the main star, though this years durian crop reportedly isn't that great, but the selection offered were still off good standing. May not be the best, but the Mao San Wangs and D24s offering a mix of sweet buttery and bitter sweet selections. A great balance to meet fans of both flavor profiles. They’ve even got the plastic gloves, wet wipes and hand sanitizes for the uninitiated. A simple, nice put together setup, congruent with durian dining in Singapore. In fact, 'buffet' goers went straight for the Durians outside.

The durians outside were good, but the spread inside actually lacked in stand out dishes. Pretty okay but the lack in replenishment of the always popular seafood section was a little disappointing. Some stand out staples were the crispy fried pork, beef roast and masala style linguini.
