A nice interior for am sure the beers are excellent on tap. Located in the city center and recommended for their Chilli mussels which did not disappoint!

*A warm heat as described by the staff. Will highly recommend this order thou a little on the pricey side. Must try to replicate these back home. The black mussels are smaller than the green lip counterparts but pack a sweeter flavor to them*

A new place that'd I'd recommend especially in the mood for a cold one with some awesome chili mussels when in Perth.

The Gage Roads Freo Brewery is a relatively new addition to the area of Freo. A nice building which retains the original structure of the large space. Known for their beers and pizzas whilst watching the active port at work.

*Nice usage of the pickled onions. Will incorporate that into future cooks to give that refreshing burst of flavor. The chicken is nicely done but a little spicy for the children.*

Would recommend for another view point of Freo and especially view of the port. Cold ones are always welcomed and some decent eats. Bather's Bath house would probably offer a more spectacular view of the sunset.
This place requires no introduction and has been around for years. Am really coming here for the nostelgia as well as for the family to experience at least once Cicerallo's. Their iconic fish tanks and the stories of the shark attacks.

*Fried fish wasn't all that amazing. Everything was borderline. The chili mussels was more of a pasta sauce and was a far cry from the ones had at Belgian Beer Cafe. For some great fish and chips in Perth city, try this tucked away secret Grand Lane Fishouse!*

What's great? The smoked sausages were particularly delectable. The buffalo wings were pretty good as well. As for the rest of the ordered items, BBQ pork, pulled pork were average at best. The nachos were good but a little too spicy for the kids.
What's nice was the condiments bar which had pickles and onions which paired very well with the smoked meats (Similar to the setup at Superduper (USA) for amazing burgers and mind blowing garlic fries). Their table side BBQ sauce wasn't mind blowing but still enjoyable.
