Beer Battered Onion Rings Served with Cajun Ranch - SGD9++
*Super Crunchy and sweet Onion Rings done well! The Cajun Ranch lacked kick thou. The only complaint is that there isn't enough. Outback does it similarly with their Blooming Onion.*
BBQ Combo
Beef Brisket SGD32++ ST Louis Ribs/Baby Back Ribs SGD16x2

*The only star here was the beef brisket. Good flavor from the fat but once we moved up to the meatier portions, it got much drier. The baby back ribs were fall of the bone, while the larger St Louis Ribs were almost there. Unfortunately both pork ribs were dry. The smoky flavors wasn't that strong and the dry rub could be heavier on all cuts of meat. What did them in was using the same sauce and rub for all the meats. The flavors kind of melded and in fact had to packet the balance as it got tedious to finish towards the end.*
One of the best smoke house enjoyed so far was at Slide Door BBQ (Perth).*
Total SGD85.92 Fed 2

Value 3/5
Ambience 3.5/5
A little disappointing. They could have had different rubs for each of the meats and be more generous on the sides, especially given that the BBQ combo  was meant for two.

The potato cut fries were done nicely, but we felt the coleslaw came from a bucket. The meats had good flavors at first, but the sweet tangy BBQ sauce eliminated the nuances of the smoke and rub. Next time just go for the beef brisket to share and skip the rest of the smokes. The place is probably more known as an outdoor  than for its smoked meats.
