MCM Comic Con London
London's Largest Modern Pop Culture Event

28thOct2017
*The huge influx of later entry visitors*
*Finally getting in after like 45mins of Zig Zag Queuing*

This year's MCM Comic Con was held at the Royal Victoria Docks. Checking out another popular con in London. Last visited was London's Film Comic Con 2016.
Pros:
- Very large venue with eateries lining the center isle and even more dining vendors on the inside of the con grounds.
-  The Interactive booths with loads of props and photo opportunities. Plus they bring the 'used on set' costumes/props to the event.
- Top Prop production companies bring their "A" game with quality costume and character portrayals.
- Loads of Merchandise
Cons:
- Choke point to process everybody. It took another 40mins just to get through to the event itself. (But waiting in line isn't too bad as you get to see so many cosplayers so you're pretty much entertained as you try to people spot)
 *(L)Found John Snow*
*(L)Neegan from the walking dead. (C) Weapons check (R) Was a bit hard to identify at first but its from a famous horror genre movie director. Can you guess it?*
- Merchandise are poorly planned out and can become repetitive. Although there are indie stuff which was very much enjoyed in LFCC2016, but the stalls I suspect are spread out through out the hall that you get overloaded by the sheer number of things being sold and eventually get overlooked.
- A little light on the selection of Guest Appearance as compared to LFCC. Here caters to more silver screen actors but even the range weren't that many. Probably the A-lister was probably Anthony Mackie (Falcon from the Avengers).
*(L)Moriarty from Sherlock (C) Peggy Carter*

The CON could have been better planned out with their different themes. The bigger players could have had better booth designs and presence rather than just occupying a huge space.

An okay Con but I personally felt LFCC, though smaller, had clear demarcation of sections for Celebrity Fan meet and greet (You can actually go up and talk to them), merchandise, indie stuff, gaming and more.

Like all Con experiences, always hydrate (Which was awesome they gave away free coke zero) and its really the con goers that add to the whole experience.

 *Breaking Bad*
*Gregor Clegane*
