九記牛腩 Beef Brisket
Noodles at Borington Market Food Center 2nd Floor

Located in Borington market food centre on the second floor (same as Wai Kee curries), Kau Kee offers noodle choices, with a selection of radish, Inerts, pork skin, beef stews and more. They didn’t seem to have a menu to select from on site.

Its really quite simple, choose your noodels, and pick your ingredients. Basic sets you can choose any three ingredients. Pay additional for more. There wasn’t a menu listing but my addition of two ingredients was at 42HKD.
Ordered On:

Set with 5 ingredients
Standout was defiantly their fish cake. Good flavor and a little different from the normal ones we get back home.

The soup base is good but a little on the salty side. Table side chili always to standard.
In a similar serving style, my preference goes to Wing Kee noodles (located just behind Pullman Hotel) which is also a beef base with a wider selection of choices to choose from. I personally felt that Wing Kee's soup base was sweeter and richer. Here at Kau Kee, its more common cuts of innerts with a  special mention to their fish cake.

Kau Kee offers a good variation to Wai Kee mutton curries located next door if you’re looking for something soupy. A great blue collar place that youu need to visit prior peak lunch period.
