RAF Museum
12Mach2017

located approximately 50mins out form Gloucester Station

Getting to the RAF museum is dead simple. With easy to follow signages and a short 15min walk from Colindale Station gets you to the RAF museum.
Entry is free and the museum is open daily from 10am, perfect for indoor activities.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. Though from the outside it looks like a decrepit building, but the unassuming exterior hides a huge collection of world war airplanes.

An impressive collection spanning the ages packed into massive hangers. The huge grounds provides great photo opportunities and a chance to get up close to the airplanes and choppers.
The only down side is that the lighting in the hangers don’t provide the best colors for photography so some manual white balancing is required.
Cafe and free wifi available on site. Highly recommended to visit and one of the largest aviation museums I’ve been come across so far. USS midway located in and around Los Angeles is another excellent aircraft carrier to visit, with volunteers ex-pilots and operates on deck to share their knowledge and experience.

Art of The Brick - DC
opens till 3rdSep2017
Go on Mondays as it goes for 10 pounds
As per the advertisement poster which I spotted along the subway. The Art of The Brick: DC Super Heroes inspired by DC Characters, features the works of Nathan Sawaya. The works includes over 120 large scale exhibits made from over 2 million Lego bricks and is a 2min walk from Waterloo Station.

Probably for the 10 pound saver/student fee, I'd say its a worth while exhibition. I don't have a bench mark to compare this to, but I thought it was a good showing of different stylistic techniques to sticking to the DC theme. The Villains section was strikingly good actually and the overall dioramas helped bring the pieces together
There's a lot more on the inside and shan't spoil the surprises here.

It's worth 1hour of your viewing pleasure, and the background hero music does help set the mood. The exhibition is said to be running till 3rd of September, so please check before turning up. Tickets maybe bought at the door . A definite can/must go for Lego and DC/Comic Fans.
