Mashawe Mediterranean BBQ

 Closed on Mon. Halal certified. They allow splitting of bill.

- Located just across the road.
- Allows for splitting of bill. Everyone could pay with their own cards/cash.
- Small seating space. Small in size but delivers on the cook and flavors.

Nice space for communal sharing of skewers, meats and dips. Fresh breads were wonderfully enjoyed with the well spiced and prepared meats.

Small space but delivers on good flavors. It was really nice they allowed for ease of splitting the bill even thou we were a large group and the food was pretty good too. Great for communal eats. Go for the spiced rice over normal chips.

El Quincho
Argentinean version of black pudding. No horse run legit filled with the good stuff. NZD10. Give it a try for what an authentic blood sausages tastes like.

Delectable crepes both sweet and savory for the picking.

Both an attraction on to itself and a location to get specialty beers and a great selection of international eats. The prices of most of the eats are largely around the NZD20 range and up. There are lots of nice sitting places for large groups and a huge variety of shop to explore and purchase from. Will return for a meal another time.

Similar to concept to Foodhallen in Amsterdam and many places in the world.

Smoke T's

This would be the flagship store to the small pop-up found at Riverside Market. The smell of beautifully smoked meat was filling the air even before reaching their door step.
Nice space, free WiFi and great smoked meats to enjoy.

*They have a pretty strict policy on both tortillas filled with the same meat choice. You can't request one tortilla with beef while another with pork.*

*The tacos were filled to the brim with nicely smoked meat. It could be a little more fatty and more smokey but one gets their money's worth. A great balance of meat to fresh slaw. Satisfyingly filling but could have used more fat and their in-house hot sauce could hold more kick. It does however have a very nice subtle fruity heat.*

Nice smoke place. Will try their jerk chicken next time. That seemed to be  the order that many were going for.
