Singapore - To Do (Japanese Cemetary Park 07June21)

Japanese Cemetery Park

Cemetery founded in 1891, now a memorial park, containing graves of Japanese expats & WWII soldiers. - Google
A really nice park with its iconic, long stretches of bougainvillea arches. There's lots of history and plenty of plaques to explain interesting factoids.

The key attractions were definitely the tranquility and an old nostalgic favorite of picking beautiful red Saga seeds.
Interesting factoid is that 4 saga seeds make up 1Gram. The seeds were widely used in the past as weight measures for gold and silver. The Saga Tree has been naturalized throughout Malaysia, Africa, Pacific and the Caribbean Islands.
