Nozaki Visit
(During Golden Week Free Entry May1-8)

A traditional event from the Genroku era. Formal name is “Sutra for Unrelated Ritual”. An event to offer thanksgiving sutra for everything, both related and unrelated. The approach for the temple from the station is lined with approx. 300 street stalls, bustling with throngs of people. Starting with “Jazz in the temple” at opening ceremony, various events are held such as Traditional dance, Rakugo(a comic story told by a professional storyteller), Japanese drums and more! - https://osaka-yanen.com/en/event_post/nozaki-visit/
More of a hiking trail rather than for the temple attraction itself.
Shops setting up for usual carnival sale items for later in the day.
The uphill climb to Jigen-ji Temple

 Over looking the township

There were some highlight moments but primarily people come here for a hike near the mountains. I did manage however to try their seasonal warm Konyaku mixed with mountain herbs and miso which was quite interesting.

A quiet place away from the bustle of town. Nothing worth screaming to come over for and probably best to visit during sunset.

Osakakizu Wholesale Seafood Market
Best to shop between 830 and 1030 in the morning.

Wet markets where many of the locals get their shopping done. The place is not like Kuromon Market or Tsukiji Market, This is purely a wholesale wet market and costco like super market (CASH ONLY). There are some places around the market for fresh seafood to be consumed at the market.

*2000yen for one whole crab. Fresh ones were for 6000yen*
