Man! Weekend and just being 10mins after doors open and one is already number 53 in the queue! Thats not all, it comes with an expected wait time of over 1hour! No chance to dine in house at this recommended sushi joint.

Reviewed highly for its great value both on trip advisor and on google, Umegaoka Sushi
is located on the 4th floor at the corner lot on the food level. The long walk way was some how designed to accommodate the anticipated long queues. A digital queuing system is available on site. Doors open at 11am. Pressed for time, I couldn't hold out for a proper sit down meal, but the take away window gives a quick alternative solution.

¥1300 for whats included was a pretty fair deal. I suspect it to be Chutoro and Ottoro cuts with quality scallops, Uni and sweet prawn. Sitting by the steps of a shipping mall I isn't the best of ways I'd would have liked to enjoy a meal here, but the over 1hour long wait wasn't really an option. Their specials pictured looked great and would definately give this place another try on a less crowded day or arriving earlier!

sushi chain is Sushi Zanmai (Click here for full review and some favorite orders!)

The broiled fluke was fantastic as were the rest of the sushi. Pretty good standings all in all. We had so much ordered that it's hard to tell if it's very pricey or very reasonably priced. The
draft beers were superbly smooth and creamy! Totally worth the tall cold one. There is a fried menu, however, everything is in Japanese with no pictures which makes ordering very challenging. A decent fry, but I wouldn't say out standing!
Fed3 just under ¥5000 each
FYI another popular Ramen joint, Ippudo is located right beside. Hence, one's Ramen and Sushi fixes are instantly taken care of in this one location. Ippudo Ramen is much closer located to Yokohama Grand Hotel over the  equally popular ramen joint, Ichiran (Click here for full review.)
