- There's a surcharge that's quite significant for the ambience for sit down meals. Its of course cheaper to have as a take away. Coffee is usually €1 to €1.50 and prices can increase by 50-100% in tourist areas.

Nice to try once for the name sake. Won't really go out of my way to come here again. Still pleasant coffee and pastries. Reminisce of some name sake dessert places from Paris, to try like Angelina and Pierre Herme's for their famous Macaroons.
Osteria da Fortunata is renowned for its authentic Roman cuisine, particularly its handmade pasta dishes. Established in 1921, the restaurant has become a culinary landmark, offering traditional recipes passed down through generations.

*Fresh pasta hits different. The see it being made live and have it its quite the culinary experience. Note that it is starchier than normal mass produced pastas.*
Service 4/5
*There was a little communication breakdown in the orders vs asking how many meatballs there were. The staff were really nice to just shift the order and not charge us for two plates. Our server was engaging and a long time server there.*

Ordered On:
09May25
Carbonara x2 & Fettuccine Ragu x1 €18each

*Both amazing! Highly recommended and were also the most ordered dishes and the restaurants too.*
Meatballs €18each

*To avoid. Way too salty really. Have had much better meatballs in other places. SKIP! For meatball lovers, one could go for The Meatball & Wine Bar in Perth.*
Tiramisu & Cheesecake €8 each

*Home runs! The Tiramisu as one would expect is a good Tiramisu, but the Cheesecake was the star here today. It wasn't too heavy and really great with the berry compote. It was consumed way faster than the already good and light Tiramisu.*09May25

It's a little on the pricier side but would return for this place especially if in the area. Great food and authentic ambience.

- Arrive early or dine at odd hours. They don't have a "ciesta" time and is open till late. The crowd really builds up and can be quite the wait.
