Tempura Daikichi serves tempura and have a fun gimmick with how people have their clam soup here and deal with the left over shells.

Tempura 1000yen set with some some topups.
Approximately 1200yen per pax.

*Tried only one of their add on dishes which was their pork cheese tempura which came recommended. It was enjoyable. Cheesy with a little bit of fresh basil. All of the fry on the tempura are pretty good and considering for the 1000yen lunch set with the selection, appetizer and soup its a great deal.
How does it compare to Tempura Ichiba (lsignature Onsen tamago)?
One probably gets more value here because of the range of seafood one gets. The dining experience here is more laid back with a wider menu to select tempura from. More of a gimmick here is throwing clam shells on the floor to have them cracked. Fun but probably only tourist were doing it. *

Ambience 3/5
Food 4/5

*For the 1000yen basic set you get the soup, an appetizer and the rice. All in with a selection of seafood tempura is a great deal!*
 Service 3.5/5
Value 4/5
Fed 3 at 1200yen each.
Interesting place with more of a gimmick way of disposing their clam shells. Good tempura fry with pretty quality ingredients. Definitely a great value lunch set.

Porcini Cream Sauce 1690Yen+300Yen for larger portion
*Their cream sauce isn't too heavy and a decent amount of ingredients. Nothing special but a decent pasta dish.*
Anchovie Pizza
*Authentic Italian. It could use more anchovies but that's personal. The dough is very light and springy. Thoroughly enjoyed and would go for their pizzas!*
Ambience 3.5/5*Nice, homely and Italian music playing in the background*
Food 3.5/5
Service 3.5/5
Value 3/5
Fed2 About 2300yen each.

*The wife leaving us an origami souvenir.*
Note there is a table charge of 200yen for water if not ordering anything from their drink menu.
Fairly priced but the portion is a little bit on the small side. The stand out here are their hand stretched, thin crusted pizza. The pizza dough has an enjoyable, light chewy texture to it. Classical Italian ingredients with that little Japanese flair. If one's looking for similar textured pizzas, one can try out Franco Manca (A london Chain with their sour dough. Highly recommended and cheap and affordable.) Piattini opens till late for a twist Japanese take on Italian cuisine.
